ABOUT US

The Corinella & District Community Centre Incorporated Association (CDCC) has been a central hub for people of all ages in the Bass Coast Waterline region for more than 30 years, providing a venue for life-long learning, support services, plus a wide range of community events.

The CDCC is housed in a Bass Coast Shire Council owned community facility operated under the auspices of Neighbourhood Houses Victoria.

The CDCC is an incorporated body governed by a Committee with adopted Rules of Association (or Constitution). The Committee is comprised of a number of volunteers, generally between five and ten, who are either Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) and a balance of General Members. The Committee is elected once a year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).  See below for details of the current Committee Membership.

AGMs are public meetings reporting back to the community. They issue an Annual Report that details the activities of the House over the past year as well as the financial details of the House’s operations.   The CDCC 2020 Annual Report was accepted by the Committee at its meeting on 1st May 2021.

The Committee meets on a regular basis to determine the direction of the Centre's activities. The Committee can (and does) delegate significant portions of their responsibilities to the management of their House, the Neighbourhood House Coordinator around staff, operations and financial management.

The CDCC would not be able to operate however without community involvement - whether it be by volunteering, becoming a member, or donating.  Learn more about Becoming Involved.
